This site is a tribute to Teddy Gadsby, who was born in Derby on May 07, 2023. He is much loved and will always be remembered.

In memory of our beautiful little boy Teddy who passed away at just 5 weeks old, through Group B strep Sepsis.

We are trying to raise as much money as possible to help spread awareness and try and stop any other families going through what we have.

Group B Streptococcus is the UK's most common cause of life-threatening infection in newborn babies and of meningitis in babies under the age of 3 months old. 

On average in the UK 
-two babies a day develop a group B Strep infection
-one baby a week dies from their GBS infection, and
-one baby a week survives with long-term disabilities – physical, mental or both.

Yet most group B Strep infections are preventable. Group B Strep Support are the only UK charity dedicated to preventing group B strep infection in babies and receive no funding from the government 🌻
